Note: Player registration is now CLOSED for Shetland (5-6), Mustang Baseball (9-10), Bronco Baseball (11-12) and Girls Softball Mustang (7-10) and Bronco (11-12) teams.
Registration is still OPEN for Pinto (7-8), Pony Baseball (13-14), and Pony Girls Softball (13-14)
Even in these leagues, we are getting down to the last few placements, so NO Registration is Guaranteed.
BUT if a player does NOT get assigned to a team, all money will be refunded.
REGISTERING ON-LINE
This registration is powered by a company known as Active Network.
They do this for many types of programs and activities.
Because of that, they ask you if you wish to register for this “event”
Our league season is considered an “event”
We hope you can and will complete all blanks, but remember that only the items marked with a red * are necessary to complete the process.
You probably want to get some things together first before clicking on the REGISTER link.
You will be asked:
What League did our child play in last year?
What Team did they play for last year?
Does your child have any allergies?
What is the carrier for your Health Insurance?
What is the policy number?
There are three steps to doing this.
(Step 1) You start by finding the proper age group for your child.
Pre-enrolled means that you completed your Guaranteed Placement form last fall and paid the $25 fee or you registered as a new player through our website. Look at the top of your paper form to see if you did or not. Clicking this option without having paid the Guaranteed Placement form last summer/fall only means you will NOT be registered until that fee is paid.
Parents of girls aged 8 should be aware that the girl may register for Pinto baseball OR Mustang softball. Realize that the cut-off dates for the two leagues are different.
Colt & 16U players - registering and paying the $25 fee means you wish to play and wish to be assigned to a team. There will be further fees to be paid once you are placed.
(Step 2) Two Waivers - You will be asked to click agreement to two waivers.
The first is the Code of Conduct for Roy Gayle. This is new this year.
You can see this by clicking on the link back on the Home Page. Included with this is a waiver from the Active Network company itself.
The 2nd is our standard Medical Release form waiver.
You MUST agree to both waivers in order to complete this registration on-line.
Completing your birth date in this section only says that you are old enough to legally do so.
(Step 3) - Payment - Once you complete part 2 you will move to the page to enter your payment via credit card.
Once you get your final ok to the process, you are finished and your child is registered for the season and you do not need to do anything else. If your child has not already been assigned to a team, expect this to happen by mid-March at the very latest.
Comments - There is a place at the end to send a question or comment along with your registration. Please use that space if you have something to say.
Email & Website - Remember that you may always send email to roy.gayle@comcast.net at anytime. Also remember to put the Roy Gayle website (www.rockfordpony.com) in your Favorites and check back often for updates.
